Cape Spear – The most easterly point of land in the western world. Where the sun rises first. Continue then to Petty Harbour and Maddox Cove. Visit a traditional supermarket and see local food on display such as cod tongues, moose, rabbit, caribou as well as many of our local berries and jams.

The Admiral’s Coast – One of Newfoundland’s most scenic coastlines.
Visit world renowned Geological site at Manuels River , Topsail Beach and The Foxtrap Marina. The beautiful sunsets alone are worth the trip.

Tour # 8 All Day (7 Hours)
The Irish Loop– See where a 16ooth colony is being uncovered right before your eyes at The Colony of Avalon in Ferryland. Have lunch at a local restaurant and enjoy the Irish heritage that is still present today. Don’t forget to watch for the Caribou that frequent this area.

Tour # 9 Land and Sea (all day,7 Hours)
Irish Loop/Boat Tour…The best of Boat worlds….come join the worlds of the land and sea combined. The Colony of Avalon in Ferryland uncovers a 16 hundreth colony that is a must to see …then on to Bay Bulls for an entertaining boat tour with O’Briens (voted the best).
The cost of this tour is $160.00 plus tax (Canadian) per person (boat tour included) based on 2 people. Lunch and any admission fees are extra.
Tour # 10 Cod Fishing 3 Hours or more
This tour consists of a beautiful scenic drive to the small fishing community of Petty Harbour. The town of Petty Harbour is still a strong fishing village and a photographers paradise.
You will meet a local fisherman (your captain) and board a 35 foot crab fishing boat.
You will get a chance to try your luck jigging a codfish and many times see whales and puffins or icebergs while enjoying a ride over the waves and a spectacular view.
When the fishing is over we will head back to Petty Harbour where you can watch your captain clean and fillet the fish caught. You will be given a fillet of fish to take home and cook if you want.
The dates for this seasons recreational fishery have not been announced yet but last year it was in July and September so you may want to check back if you are interested.
