Come with us and enjoy the best of both worlds. On this tour we will bring you to the beautiful scenic Irish Loop well known for its Irish heritage. Leaving St. John’s we will first visit the town of Bay Bulls and join O’Briens Boat tour for a two hour excursion to see whales and puffins at the Wittless Bay Ecological reserve.
After an enjoyable boat tour we will continue along the Irish Loop to the town of Ferryland. We will have lunch at a local restaurant and enjoy the Irish heritage that is still present today. After lunch we will experience a 16ooth colony that is being uncovered right before your eyes at The Colony of Avalon.
At the end of the tour at the Colony of Avalon we will depart for a scenic drive back to St John’s.
The cost of this tour is $160.00* (Canadian) plus tax per person. Cost includes boat tour however admission to the Colony of Avalon (approximately $6-$8) and the cost of your meal is your responsibility. Time will be allowed for stops for picture taking along the route.
